Day in and day out, there are countless local organisations working hard to save, rehabilitate and rehome vulnerable or abused pets. Petplan wanted to show our appreciation for the hard work these charities do in our local communities because our sole focus is on the health and wellbeing of pets.
9 Lives Orphanage is based in Manurewa and their mission is to care for and rehabilitate injured, sick, and scared cats and kittens: and re-home these once stray and abandoned animals into loving forever homes. They offer a range of opportunities to participate like Yoga with kittens, Kitten cuddle days and Kitten adoption days. One main priority and challenge is the neutering of abandoned cats and kittens before they are rehomed.
Our other competition winners are:
Franklin Farm Sanctuary – Franklin
Donna Doolittle Animal Rescue – Kaitaia
Rescue Revive Rehome – Bay of Plenty
Feral Nation – Wellington
