Invest in the Best Dog Insurance in New Zealand
There’s no doubt that we love our doggies in New Zealand. It’s said that 31% of Kiwis own one or more. And we’re not surprised. Dogs give you loyalty, unconditional love and a reason to get off the sofa and out into the fresh air. All over the world, not just in NZ, dog owners spend their hard-earned cash on everything from premium quality food, grooming and luxuries such as toys, doggy day-spas and clothing, not to mention the money spent on routine vaccinations and vet’s fees.
However, while most of us can and are happy to afford the yearly costs involved in looking after our pooches, many of us dread the thought of having to pay out for costly emergency or long-term veterinary treatment. Some of us just leave it to chance with the mindset that we’ll worry about it if and when it happens, while others never even give it a thought. And then there are the responsible pet owners that put a contingency plan in place by taking out pet insurance for dogs.
The Best Pet Dog Insurance is the Insurance that Meets Your Needs
We’re often asked why we feel that we offer the best pet dog insurance. Of course, there are many reasons, not least:
We specialise in dog insurance. We don’t sell car, house, life, health or any other types of insurance.
Petplan has been around since 1976, and we’ve been providing dog insurance NZ wide since 2004.
We provide ongoing cover for the lifetime of your dog, as long as you don’t take a break in cover.
We offer a range of policies so you can choose the one that best suits your dog and your pocket.
We guaranteed low excesses and fast payouts to ensure that you can comfortably pay for treatments quickly.
But we feel that our service goes beyond some of the other pet insurance companies. We genuinely care about giving you the cover you need for your pet dog, whether you’ve just bought a new puppy, you have multiple dogs, or your precious canine companion is getting on in years.
A Choice of Dog Insurance Policies
Many pet owners put off buying cover due to the cost of pet insurance for dogs. And we can understand that. After all, we buy insurance to cover us for situations we hope will never happen. At Petplan, we keep our policies as affordable as possible and offer a variety of different options, so you can choose the plan that suits you best.
12 Months Essential, as the name suggests this is basic pet insurance for dogs to cover accidents, illness cover and emergencies.
Covered For Life® Classic 1 and Classic 2 which gives you comprehensive insurance for your dog for its whole life as long as you keep continuous cover.
Covered For 4 Life® Ultimate, our premium policy which gives you cover for all situations.
So, as you can see, you choose the level of cover that you can afford and feel comfortable with.
